Investigate! Invent! Innovate!TM

Identify a PROBLEM. Be the first with a SOLUTION
Take it to MARKET. Hey, I’m an INVENTOR!

“Yes, we can show adults that we have great ideas too!”
– Student Participant

Investigate! Invent! Innovate!, or I3, is a curriculum-aligned program for Grade 7 & 8 students that integrates science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills and 21st Century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. These skills help students develop the abilities needed to succeed in a globally competitive workplace.
Students identify a problem or opportunity in their daily lives and then invent a product or processes to solve the problems, based on concepts they learn in class. The program culminates with annual Invention Conventions in various cities across Canada.
